International Distribution Company Bangladesh PLC. has been awarded for its outstanding execution of Kellogg's Touch Point Increase initiative at the 2nd Bangladesh Retail Awards under the "Best Innovation in POP Merchandising" category.

The award was presented during the grand gala ceremony of the Bangladesh Retail Award 2024 program, organized by the Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF) at Hotel Le Méridien Dhaka on October 5, 2024.

In 2018, Kellogg’s has started its distribution journey with IDC and gradually achieved leadership position in the breakfast cereal category in Bangladesh. Despite having all these successes, the brand faced challenges maintaining the growth momentum in Modern Trade (MT) channel due to lack of scope to generate more trials and purchase from the same stores.

To address these challenges, IDC implemented innovative merchandising strategies at the modern trade outlets across the country since July 2023, that yielded remarkable results for Kellogg’s. This strategic approach not only boosted sales but also minimized product damage and expiry at the outlet level, creating value for the brand and for its consumers.

The recognition at the Retail Awards is testament to IDC's expertise in understanding consumer behavior, leveraging effective merchandising techniques, and driving sales performance. The company’s innovative merchandising has helped set a new standard for excellence in the retail industry.
