Celebration program “Ek Notun Jatra”, held on February 15, 2020. marked the Official hand over of Distribution right of all Mondelez Products (Cadbury Chocolate, Tang, Oreo Biscuit, Bournvita, & others) to International Distribution Company Bangladesh (Pvt) Limited (IDC) by Mondelez Bangladesh Private Ltd. Representatives of both the companies and also more than 150 sub-distributors and business partners were present at the ceremony.

IDC organized an exclusive Ferrero Cricket Tournament 2019 for the Ferrero Wholesalers of Chawkbazar, Dhaka on October 31, 2019. The tournament was among 4 teams: King Star Kinder Club, Tic Tac Young Star Freshness Club, Superstar Nutella Club, Ferrero Rocher Golden Star Club. The tournament was held at night after regular business hours.

Mr. Stefano Pelle, Managing Director, Ferrero India Pvt. Ltd. visited Bangladesh on October 22-23, 2019. During his two-day stay in Bangladesh, he visited general trade, modern trade and Dhaka wholesale market and meet the customers of Ferrero products in Bangladesh. Mr. Pelle also inaugurated the first ever Kinder Joy Country Club at Chwakbazar, Dhaka and officially launched the Ferrero Cricket Championship 2019. Mr. Stefano Pelle met with IDC management and also addressed Ferrero Sales team.

IDC awarded a two-day foreign trip to Kolkata, India on September 22-23, 2019 to the customers (sub-distributors) and employees for their remaking performance and target achievement in the first half (January-June) of 2019. The celebration included of award night to recognize the contribution of customers and employees in IDC’s growth and gala night for mega celebration.

IDC started official operation in its new corporate office at 4th Floor, 277 Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka from January 25, 2019. The inauguration of the corporate office comprised of religious rituals, joined by both IDC officials, stakeholders and well-wishers.

Mr. Rakhshit Hargave, Senior Vice President, Nivea India, Sub Sahara, Africa and Mr. Neil George, Managing Director, Nivea India Pvt. Limited paid a visit to Bangladesh at different times to observe the growring Nivea Market in the country and meet with IDC Nivea team. They also visited different markets in different channels and exchanged views with the local retailers.
