March 01, 2020 | Dhaka, Bangladesh: International Distribution Company Bangladesh (Pvt) Limited has been honored with Best Executed Stall Award at the 27th US Trade Show, 2020 held at Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon (The Oasis), Dhaka on February 27-29, 2020. The trade show was organized by American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmCham) and co-sponsored by The Embassy of the United States of America in Bangladesh.

The award was handed over at the closing ceremony of the trade show. Mr. Ashraf Bin Taj, Managing Director of IDC received the award from Mr. Salman Fazlur Rahman, the Private Sector Industry and Investment Adviser to Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Mr. Earl R. Miller, U.S. Ambassador to the People's Republic of Bangladesh and Mr. Syed Ershad Ahmed, President, AmCham was also present at the ceremony.

The US trade Show is an annual trade show where the best U.S. products and businesses in Bangladesh, as well as U.S. Embassy services are showcased. This year there were over 70 booths. IDC participated in the trade for the 2^nd time; first time was in 2019. IDC is the Bangladesh Authorized Distributor or globally renowned brands such as Nivea, Kelloggs, Pringles, Ferrero, Amul, Mondelez (Cadbury & Tang), Agro Tech India (An affiliate of ConAgra Foods), and Unilever International. At the US trade show, IDC represented its US origin brands – Kellogg’s Cereals, Pringles Potato Chips, Cadbury Chocolates, Tang Instant Powder Drink, ACT II Popcorn and Sundrop Peanut Butter. Like last year, IDC received astounding response from the audience visiting the fair. The award was given on the booth design, execution and consumer engagement at the stall.
